Kingdom Gaming Invitational
Happy Friday folks!
As previously teased, I'm one of the lucky players who got randomly selected for the Kingdom Gaming Invitational at the end of the month!
Kingdom Gaming is a game store based out of Northampton, and a staunch supporter of Flesh and Blood. They are moving into a larger space, which I believe can hold up to 94 players! In celebration of the larger space, they are holding the Kingdom Gaming Invitational (KGI) on 29th - 30th January 2022.
It is an invite only Flesh and Blood event. But, the invites are completely random. I did not hit an invite on the first wave. However, some invitees were not able to make the event. So, everyone gained 'go again'. On this second wave of invites, I did in fact get selected!
So, we're going to take a trip outside of London that weekend. Let's have a look at what's in store!

The drafts could be any set of the draftable sets! A box of WTR, ARC, MON or TOA will be randomly allocated to each pod.
There's also a win-a-box Blitz event on the Sunday for those sticking around that aren't in the top 8. If I do stay for the Sunday, I'm likely to participate in this.
In addition, Kingdom Gaming will host a Farewell Welcome to Rathe event the Friday night before. Unfortunately, I was a bit slow on grabbing a spot for that event. So, I might look to do the Blitz Armoury thats running alongside it instead, if I do come up early on the Friday. These two Friday events really feels like a social before the big weekend, so I am looking forward to making some new friends!
Everything will be streamed on Twitch, so tune in and see if you can spot me! If you've seen me at Armouries, you know I'll be wearing my Japanese inspired Haori jacket 😉
The goodies!
Here's the nutty part. KGI is a free event, even the draft packs! In addition, participants will also receive gift packs, deck box, sleeves, and chances to get other cool FaB promo items throughout the event! All these elements really creates a great vibe for the event, might even say it's one of the most exciting event for FaB in the UK thus far!
Of course, the top players are aiming for those really spicy prizes
- Winner : 2 boxes of Flesh and Blood First Edition & £200 cash
- Runner Up : 2 boxes of Flesh and Blood First Edition & £100 cash
- 3rd-4th : One box of Flesh and Blood & £50 store credit each
- 5th-8th : One box of Flesh and Blood each
All of the top 8 will also receive one random Cold Foil and one random Playmat!
Hype
I'm really excited, and feel extremely fortunate, to be able to participate in this event. I've never been to a big event like this before for TCGs, actually. So, I'm also part anxious, seeing as it is like a big tournament!
But, I am excited nevertheless and I will be playing to the best of my abilities, as always. Wish me luck! I'm quite tempted to maybe borrow some of the more competitive pieces like CnC and E-strike for this particular occasion 😂  (as most are drafting WTR that weekend).
Hopefully, I can also share the gifts with the London crew who are not going, as they have been very good to me. I wonder if many of the promo items will be decorations we can hang up or display, that would be really cool.
You will be hearing from me again on Saturday the 29th, reporting in on how I did! See you then!
P.S.
Kingdom Gaming's Adam is handsome, like, really handsome 😉
Thanks again for letting me post about the event and use the images, King.
